High Park is one of my favorite places for engagement photos in Toronto. It is so lush and green and has some interesting buildings for texture.
I had a great time doing the engagement photos for this couple. We took some photos on the Univerity of Toronto Campus before heading down to the Distillery District for some more engagement photographs.

The Old Britannia Schoolhouse in Mississauga makes for a great engagement photo session location. There is an old schoolhouse, a few rustic buildings and the grounds even have an old barn. This couple is a pair of teachers and the old schoolhouse sure was a prefect fit for their engagement photos.

I had a great time with this couple taking photos at the Halton County Radial Railway. Their wedding this summer should be a blast! The train museum has lots of old streetcars and trains to roam around that made wonderful backdrops for a picture perfect engagement session. The museum is only an hours drive out of Toronto.

I just updated my website with a new wedding portfolio with an emphasis towards modern wedding photography. Editing a photography portfolio is always full of tough decision on what to show. The hardest part for me is being objective with my photography. What is my best work? What do brides want to see? Is this fit in with my “best wedding photography” or do I like it for personal reasons? I did finally make all of these decisions and in this blog post I want to share some of my favourite bridal portraits and wedding photographs that did not end up in my portfolio.
